About us.
The Washington County Historical Society initiates projects to gather and publish histories and photos of early people, places and buildings. The society promote the remembrances of those who contributed to building up the community that created the foundation of all that we enjoy today.
Members of the society are all volunteers, donating their time and efforts to preserve and present the legacy of the area. Monetary donations help to fund the costs of gathering, restoring, and presenting information.
